We don't believe in auto software generated graphics. Here at the Logo Shed we have real people working on your project. You'll have ONE-TO-ONE communication with the designer assigned to your project. You can ask them anything you like - anytime. We always aim to keep our customers happy regardless of how difficult the task may be.

Multiple Logo Designs

We're sure you'll agree that paying for the right logo is important! So we try our very best to give you a good choice of quality designs to choose from. We have a number of packages each with more than just one logo concept design. When you're happy we'll work with this to produce your final logo.

Multiple File Formats

Upon completion your logo will be converted into a number different formats. These files can be given to a commercial printer or website designer and can be used for any purpose. Your logo can then be stretched to any size without any loss in quality.

Here are the main file formats which your logo will be available in:

EPS

Preffered printing format by most commercial printers. This is a vector image of your logo compatible with poth PC and Macintosh. Vector images are used by printers as they can be changed in size without any loss of image quality. Changes to the original image can also be made using this file.

GIF & JPG

Gif & Jpeg images are an excellent & popular choice for high quality graphics which are much smaller in filesize than an .eps image. This makes them ideal for use on websites. A gif is another low resolution format with a small filesize for use on the web.

AI

An Adobe Illustrator file format, a well-known and widely used drawing application. Compatible with both Windows and Macintosh this vector based format is similar to the EPS format and makes use of PostScript - a powerful and complex printing language.

PSD

An Adobe Photoshop file format, the current and primary market leader for commercial bitmap and image manipulation.

PNG

An extremle powerful bitmap image format that employs lossless data compression in comparison to TIFF or BMP. These graphics can be used in many applications and on the web and support 'layers'. However unlike AI and EPS formats, does not support certain other advanced features (such as CMYK).

ICO

This is a standard format for use with very small icons (16 x 16 pixels). A common use is within internet browser favourites links (internet explorer) and desktop/program icons.

BMP

A bmp (bitmap) file is a format used by Windows. This format also has a lower resolution.

TIFF

Similar to a BMP (bitmap) graphic, a tiff can be shared among various applications and for basic printing.

PCT

A Macintosh Pict (PCT) file. For use normally within Macintosh QuickDraw and are used in desktop publishing and imaging applications. PCT Vector files can be read and written as raster images in the non-vector toolkits

FLASH / SWF (optional)

A flash image can can be used on the internet due to it's excellent compression and filesizes. This makes is an excellent choice for smooth animated images with multiple frames.

Lifetime Logo Storage

On our dedicated web servers, we keep a secure archive of your finished logo. This download will be available to you online anytime you wish. This is particularly handy if you lose your files, have a PC or Network crash or simply want to download again.

Many also use this feature to allow friends, contacts or colleagues to download a copy remotely, as some Logopacks can be quite large to email.

CD Logo Pack

Most of our packages included a CD copy of your final design. This hard copy will be sent to you by post and can be kept for future reference should you need it.
